  I have been to Paragon five times since they opened and it has quickly become one of my favorite spots. Being a new restaurant, I will admit that everything isn't always perfect but the place is getting better each time. On opening night I had the ginger pork sticks appetizer which was absolutely fantastic, I have had it again since. For my entree I had the beer brined pork chop which was tender, juicy and amazing. It comes with a side of macaroni and cheese with hand cut in house made macaroni. Another standout in the group I ate with was the pork ravioli with pear. On the negative side the mushroom ravioli and short rib pasta were only so so. I have since had the voodoo chicken sandwich twice which is absolutely the best chicken sandwich that I have ever had. I also had the burger which was very good but not fantastic. My biggest complaint is that they serve diner quality frozen french fries. Cooked perfectly and nice and crispy but still frozen fries. What I was told was that everything other than the bread and fries is made in house. Paragon is a nice restaurant but is very approachable for a nice dinner or a few drinks after work. They have top notch whiskey and spirits and an amazing beer selection. Just for the beer alone Paragon is worth the trip. New Jersey Craft Beer members also get a generous discount with their card. I love Paragon and am convinced that in time it will earn that fifth star! Just find a small corner of the kitchen to cut some fresh fries and they will be halfway there.
